I am officially announcing my retirement from the AWDC. Come september this website will only contain graphics I want to make, and a portfolio of drawings.

I’m not happy with this website as it is. I’m sick of trying to be some big shoot when I’m obviously not. C:

Everyone gets their shit from high-ranking websites, and I will never ever be one of those. I roll differently. I don’t copy some style. I roll my way. And come september that’s what this website will be about.

I’ll probably still make avatars. But come september, I won’t have time to run a graphics site. I’ll be going to community college and when I’m online I’ll be working on my new Xenosaga Community and Forums and my girlfriends website Anime Blend. They’re going swimmingly. I’d also like to devote more time to drawing and writing… two creative things I actually enjoy and I’m GOOD at.

You might see some of that posted here. Anyway, I’ll still have “affiliates” because I’ll be keeping my graphics up for at least a year. I still like the community, but right now I’m having trouble finding the time for/getting in the mood for graphics at all.

So it’s safe to say I’m retiring. I don’t want to worry about this anymore, hell, I don’t even watch enough anime to keep up with the times. I’m not going to be something I’m not anymore, and after five years of scraping up from 10 hits on a good day to 75 hits on a good day, I can say this site had a good run. It was a good run. It was fun while it lasted.

But I’d rather my domain be something I enjoy than a chore. I hope everyone can understand this. So graphics, I bid you aidu. It’s been great, but splatterheart is going to become something even better.

Everything is all moved and sexy! I officially own my own site! : D

This means you’ll definitely see some expansion in the coming months. Although, the renders and textures pages are still having a few minor kinks and there are some things I’d like to test, the site is working fine all-in-all.

Here’s my list for this week as I get things settled.

-Hosting Rules/Page
-Fix Renders and Textures pages.
-Add some stuff
-Re-open affiliation

That’d be it mammm. Also my laptop is Absolutely USELESS right now and I need to get it fixed. ;.; So any extra content might be slow in coming but I’ll try and make some bases or something!

Congratulations! You’re now viewing splatterheart’s sexiest wp-template ever. Which is approximately 99.99999999% sexier because of the presence of KOS-MOS! IT IS AFFIRMATIVE! Anyway you guys do not know how ridiculously long it takes me to make these silly templates. It took me a month to get this one just right. And I worked on it just about every day.

Anyway, besides the template there are some other changes. Our icons no longer rely on icon sort, I have switched to next gen gallery in my efforts to better organize the site. My drawings are also viewed with next gen now for anyone who cares. Also, I’m hoping to have my templates switchable by the summer. So this is not the end of Mugen, he’s just taking a break.

Other than that I have some new drawings, two new icons, a handful of xenosaga icon bases, and a xenosaga render.

By the way, for anyone who cares, the layout features images from the anime. But I don’t really like the anime because it’s not as good as the games, plus both versions totally screw up Albedo’s voicing. Which is a no no. I just used the anime because I could find images for it. hahah. Anyway please look around at all of the new changes.

Yes I’m finally back with an update, thank God. Ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages I present

two. whole.ICONS! ZOMG! Yeah I was gone for a month and just made 2 icons. But I have a good reason. I’m serious. You see the thing is… I’m getting sent to private school. And to make the financial aid, I’ll have to make very high scores on the entrance exam.  As you can imagine, that’s a lot of pressure all the sudden, especially for someone who has been used to a cozy lax homeschooler life. Think of me as you will, but either way that means quite a bit less time for Splatterheart in the coming months. But I will never close. At the very worst I’d merge with AB or hire some staff to keep it up. But I admit staff are hard to come by these days, especially ones with a high graphic quality.

Anyway any fans or regulars I may have left can take some solace in the fact that I’m working on a new template. It’s still in the design stages but you guys should see it around spring break maybe. As you may have already guessed, it will be Xenosaga. <3 I love those games. I had a hard time choosing XS or ToS2, but I did a ToS template once on IWD so this time I went with Xenosaga. =) Harhar!

In other news my Xenosaga obsession continues. I’m almost done with the last episode (in the games, it’s a game serries not an anime for those who don’t know. It has an anime but it fails because of poor production values. D: ) in the serries. Mannn I wish they would make more. I’m sad that they didn’t do their original plan of 6 episodes. That would have been awesome.

Anyway that’s my rant for today. I could rant about other things, but they aren’t fan related and no body wants to hear them. I do plan on using this thing as an actual blog soon…. when I can have something interesting to blog about and actually have the time to write about it at the same time.

Attention. If you want to comment on this entry via wordpress you can do it -HERE-. I guess no one paid attention to that last update. I’m sorry about this but it’s a fix until I learn how to work comments and page includes harmoniously in wordpress. Also I’m ganna clear out the affiliates with dead links tonight. Affiliation is open as always and feel free to apply if you are a graphics or resource site that meets the same quality standared. I’m also considering doing a blog roll since J-Raze and Splatterheart are pretty much merged. But maybe I should just stick with affiliates for now, that might be too many links. Tell me what you think.

Let’s see other than that I added 13 icon bases and a brush set. ;) Go download those. Speaking of resources, I’m touched to find so many people using them! I think I’ve found at least 5 people who I’m not affiliated with or don’t really know using them. I know that’s not much but it’s more than I imagined I would ever have. And I think I’ll only get more to come. So thank you all, you guys keep me running this site. It’s why it is here so please use whatever you find. (Do not forget to credit though ;D)
