This is what a Jessi looks like.

About Me, Jessi Ray:
I am best described as an intelligent, zany, quirky, individualist, who loves the strange and beautiful things this life has to offer. I like coffee. I love being creative, and doing anything that includes vision. I have a tendency to get hyper when I get an idea, or want to create something. I’m a constant projecter- I am not happy unless I’m working on something, preferably, some huge vision, or ground shaking aspiration. I tend to stay up all night thinking about my next big move, thus, the dark circles under my eyes. I am ambitious. I probably shoot a little higher than most people, I think, I dream, I work. I am a perfectionist. I am not happy with a project unless it is done to the best of my capability. Countless graphics, drawings, layouts and other projects have been dumped because I didn’t like them. I like making people happy, and blowing their minds. That’s why I’m here.

About Splatterheart:
Splatterheart is my little showcase. I have my own style. I really don’t care what nay-sayers think at this point- I strive to be unique, not another carbon copy of one of those popular sites. You know which ones I mean. I dislike an egotistic website owner and I won’t lie-I hate style Nazis. You know those sites that will only affiliate with sites that look exactly the same as them. I respect all kinds of styles- it’s easy enough to tell from a newbie and intentional effect.

I also like making resources. Everything I make, I guarantee you will be able to use. I use much of my own resources, which should say something. Splatterheart is ambitious-it is unique. And at this point, I am able to diffuse criticism from egoism, and confidence from egoism, for that matter. Having a graphics site is about doing what you think looks good, and helping others achieve what they think looks good. Not copying people to get into some advanced clique. Remember that if you’re thinking about starting your own site.
Splatterheart was founded in February of 2008, although I forget which day. Before Splatterheart, I owned Illusive Wish Designs, and Petal Dance Candy. Very few people remember Illusive Wish, much less PDC. I also owned a really lame Pokémon site named Scyther’s Realm when I was 12. Splatterheart Graphics became Splatterheart.net on August 17, 2008, and switched to pro hosting in June of 2009- I’m moving up in the world.

The name Splatterheart, raises eyebrows. I absolutely love it though, and I hate it when people type it “Splatter Heart” or “Splattered Heart”. I was originally going to go with Shatterheart, after Fran’s overdrive in Final Fantasy XII. It has an awesome name. But I saw a Final Fantasy site with that name and domain when I did a search, so I made some revisions. I ended up liking Splatterheart better, because it’s artsy and stylish. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
