Dear GFX community,
I am officially announcing my retirement from the AWDC. Come september this website will only contain graphics I want to make, and a portfolio of drawings.
I’m not happy with this website as it is. I’m sick of trying to be some big shoot when I’m obviously not. C:
Everyone gets their shit from high-ranking websites, and I will never ever be one of those. I roll differently. I don’t copy some style. I roll my way. And come september that’s what this website will be about.
I’ll probably still make avatars. But come september, I won’t have time to run a graphics site. I’ll be going to community college and when I’m online I’ll be working on my new Xenosaga Community and Forums and my girlfriends website Anime Blend. They’re going swimmingly. I’d also like to devote more time to drawing and writing… two creative things I actually enjoy and I’m GOOD at.
You might see some of that posted here. Anyway, I’ll still have “affiliates” because I’ll be keeping my graphics up for at least a year. I still like the community, but right now I’m having trouble finding the time for/getting in the mood for graphics at all.
So it’s safe to say I’m retiring. I don’t want to worry about this anymore, hell, I don’t even watch enough anime to keep up with the times. I’m not going to be something I’m not anymore, and after five years of scraping up from 10 hits on a good day to 75 hits on a good day, I can say this site had a good run. It was a good run. It was fun while it lasted.
But I’d rather my domain be something I enjoy than a chore. I hope everyone can understand this. So graphics, I bid you aidu. It’s been great, but splatterheart is going to become something even better.

It’s really a pity that you’re retiring ’cause I liked your graphics a lot. But hey, if splatterheart is going to be even better,then I can’t wait xD
Aww, I’m sorry to hear you’re leaving the GFX community :( But you should do what you want to do with your website anyway :P

You sound like you are worrying too much. Really, I think everyone starts their sites for the fun of it and then let life and people make it work. But you don’t have to look at it that way. You should be having fun this whole time. :3 Do what you want.
I completely respect your decision. I hope you keep active, and I hope you keep in touch with affiliates and sibs. I love your graphics, but I want you to be happy with what you do.. I design them because it makes me happy. You need to do what it takes to make you happy. ^^ Good luck, and I can’t wait to see what will become of what you’re doing.
Do watever you want with your site, if you want it to be smaller go ahead, but don’t quit cause of something dumb, I’m starting college to, but Imma try my hardest cause I love making wallpapers! Love to and I can care less aboout the rest

Hey if your site is feeling like work and you don’t enjoy it then yes its time for change. My site did better when it was crap funny. I suppose someday I’ll come to this as well, but I still enjoy it to much. As my other computer just crashed and burned lol Got to love those. Anyway I wish you well with your new site :D
Divine Designs is going to be on an Open Hiatus until November 1st, on which date it will then go into Closed Hiatus so I can update the site and implement everything for its birthday surprise! Check the site for the details =)
